The Sounds of Animals Fighting are a super group. I have no idea who is responsible for this experimental train wreck, nor do I care…ultimately it serves as mildly entertaining background music.

“Skullflower” sounds as if it was ripped directly from that last Mars Volta record that is collecting dust on your shelf.  Falsetto yelps, unintelligible chanting, and looped effects are all over the place. “Horses in the Sky” introduces a looped metal guitar lead that makes you press that skip track button pretty quickly.

“The Heretic” is the most accessible track on the album, but once you skip through all the filler, spoken word, and electronic nonsense you probably won’t care about the track. Avoid this record like the plague.
