Limited Addiction-The Art Toy Movement
In conjunction with ROBOTlove, OX-OP is hosting a one night exhibit, LIMITED ADDICTION: The Art Toy Movement a retrospective exhibit of key pieces from 1999-2006. Basically a one night showing of the early, and hard to find pieces from this movement. Compiled from the personal collections of ROBOTlove, Haze-XXL & several others, the toys on display are pieces you’re likely only to ever see books like Delicious Vinyl, and seldom in person.
After the event on Robot Love’s 2nd Annual Customer Appreciation party kicks into high gear at Grumpy’s Bar (next door) with DJ Lori “Boom Boom†Barbero flipping discs. The fun starts with the exhibit Saturday, July 29 from 7pm-10pm, and then party at Grumpy’s from 10-??? Though pieces in the exhibit are not for sale, ROBOTlove & OX-OP will be pulling a few gems from our vaults to sell in the gift shop. One time only items and rarities. Also they’re making a couple new releases available at this event like the brand new Nathan Jurevicius’ OX-OP Scary Girl.
