I was a little skeptical at first as to how David Choe could single-handedly fill up all three rooms of Jonathan LeVine’s gallery space. While the world renowned graffiti artist does have quite a body of work, not even Gary Baseman could cover all those walls. Turns out I was wrong. Choe covered every inch of the Chelsea gallery with a bevy of styles ranging from traditional Asian-inspired prints to stunning paintings that recall modern graffiti masters such as Doze Green.

The highlight of the evening was checking out the installation that adorned the wall of the main gallery. Like an elephant in a room of meer cats, the piece drew attention from everyone with its vivid colors and traditional Choe imagery.
