Abe Lincoln Jr. Representin’ at MPH

My Plastic Heart is at it again. This time, the alternative vinyl/art gallery on the fringe of Soho has offered up a taste cuddly wuddly with one of the most badass street designers to date–Abe Lincoln Jr. Life In A Bungalo stopped by the gallery on Friday night and the place was packed, hot, and teeming with little pooping bird creatures. The man of the hour was in the house, and he brought along an assortment of giant custom Dunnys, spectacular mini-paintings and the coupe de grace: a massive installation piece comprised of dozens of bottles of water, each emblazoned with ALJ’s signature fledgling. Word also has it that there was a sterling silver version of said winged friend, but I was too late to behold its beauty. The show is running for a while, and Abe has a ton of skateboards and shirts for sale, so head over to Forsyth. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
