Life In A Bungalo swung by the old WWE New York in Times Square today for a press conference promoting Vince McMahon’s million dollar giveaway. Here are some tidbits:

The press conference started at noon, and fans were seated in the general floor area behind the press and fans filled out the balcony area. The place was pretty packed with tons of chanting New Yorkers.

A team of security guards went on stage at the start to unload a clear suitcase filled with money into an acrylic, see-through podium. The audience started chanting for some of the dough, to no avail.

John Cena was the first superstar introduced and he pretty much got heeled and took it with a smile, even mocking the fan that was calling out for JBL. Jeff Hardy got a decent chant, even though he was there, nor was announced to be there.

Some guy from ePrize (or whatever the sponsor is) was up next and was jeered so hard that we couldn’t hear him. Same for the poor girl that won the $2 and the $250,000 winner. Luckily, they kept whatever they had to say short.

Maria came out and rattled on about how great the divas were and read a list about extracurricular activities the divas engage in when not at work. It went on too long, but she smiled and perked up the crowd.

HHH was greeted to a huge reception from fans and he hammed it up nicely. The best line of his speech was when he told the crowd that it wasn’t all the training he went through to become a 12-time world champion–it was banging the bosses daughter. He then went on to say that in revenge, grandpa is always over spoiling his grandkids. It was really out of character, and really funny.

The place went wild when Vince McMahon entered the room, but that died down when he said that he wasn’t going to be throwing out cash, like when Mayweather was there. He went on to thank the audience and wished them all good luck in winning his millions.

Afterwards, Cena bolted and HHH walked around signing autographs and mugging for the cameras. At one point, Maria wiggled her breasts for the paparazzi and HHH followed suit, bouncing his chest up and down and then posing.
