Barack Obama is a very special person since he is the first black president of the United States of America. his ability as a president is also very good and his plans for economic recovery is a good one.

It is a shame that those words came from Blackie Lawless. Too much conservative nonsense. Well, at least he is not a birther.

I find it funny that people who are against Obama and what he stands for are the automatically labeled bush supporters. Then the Obama crowd feel obligated to bring up the mistakes in Bush's past as if still clinging to the hatred they had for Bush. Why do people who support Obama hate Bush? Do they even know why they hate Bush? I know why I thought Bush, Bush Senior, Clinton, Carter, and especially Obama are/were terrible presidents. Because they step all over the constitution and the American people.

The two party system is destroying America because each side thinks the other side is horrible. I agree with both sides. The government, (congress, president and courts) are destroying everything that made America great by "protecting us from ourselves". However, I take solace in the fact that one day many of us will be rescued as the world collapses. The end times have already been revealed to us. It's up to you whether you want to accept that truth or not.

I would also nominate Blackie for president. He has at least done his homework and researched out our current sonofabitchin' President that is Hellbent on destroying our country and our constitution. That is more than most of us has done before we go to the polls. I think that our founding fathers would be rolling in their tombs if they truly knew what was happening to our country. We wanted change from an administrative warmonger and the change we are getting is certainly not for the better. So thumbs up to you Blackie, If you are as Hellbent on protecting our constitution as Obama is on destroying it, then you have my support 100% for the presidency. At least we will have voice, a person that knows what he's talking about and has plenty of balls to stand up for not only what he believes in, but for all of us that want and need a change for the better.

Barack Obama for me is the most charismatic president to be ever elected. He also makes great decisions, for example in the ecomomic stimulus package to counter the effects of recession.

Racist? Where do you morons get racist from? You people are the racists. Lawless disnt say anything about Obama being black - its you people who are doing that. Thats makes you the racists.

Blackie talked about the man and his ideals. You people come in with the racist! shout. Makes you look like idiots. If Obama was a homosexual you'd statrt crying that Blackie is a homo hater. You people are the problem. Its your world - your own poop you are swimming in - enjoy. Please do not expect help from me. I'll let you drown as you certainly seem to enjoy continuously pooping where you eat.

Blackie Lawless for President, 2012.....Sounds good to me. atleast Blackie knows what the hell he's talking about. He has said more and made more of a valid point than your president has. We have no president. he has been in office a year, and has done absolutely nothing for us. nothing he promised us. He has lied to our faces. Im politically incorrect, and damn proud of it.....

Though I've only knew WASP back in 2005 I just hope that Blackie Lawless will be welcomed with open arms by America's favorite Über-Aryans Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Not to mention America's favorite conservative trans-sexual Ann Coulter. Maybe former first lady Nancy Reagan was right about the negative effects of recreational drug use. Too bad it took 25 years for her theory to be proven. Rush and his Oxycontin and now Blackie Lawless, does drug abuse cause racism?

As one of those who only heard WASP's 1980s stuff back in 2002 and all the band's personnel supposed politics during the reign of Ronald Reagan. I just hope that Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh and the rest of America's Über-Aryans would welcome Blackie Lawless with open arms. Blackie does look "Aryan enough" to me. Even I'm "white enough" to slip though these Aryan Nation meetings and other NAZI punk / Oi! scene concerts. As long as I don't tell them my Uzbek / Uyghur roots.

Blackie Lawless is as crazy as his uncle,Ryne Duren(Blackie's name is Steven Duren)was a drunken,

I agree 100% with Blackie. In his rant on the brocken political machine, he describes a country about to transform into something we or most of us dont want. Our greatest comodity is ignorance. And the left shows this everyday. Our country is in great need for an overhaul, maybe its Mr Lawless that needs to help lead the charge.
Blackie old fart? he is far wiser than 52million americans that voted for this so called change, he saw it before it was about to unravel. So lets hear more from Mr. Lawless, I'll stand behind you.

I've been a Blackie Lawless fan since the first W.A.S.P. album in '83. I never knew his politics. I assumed, like most celebrities, that he was another one of the "Obama at any Cost" celebrity "Change" supporters. I'm a 37 year old Sergeant First Class that has served in the US Army for over 19 years. I served in combat early in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have been attacked by insurgents and have seen the destruction that terrorism brings to the innocent. Terrorism is but one of the serious issues that our country faces today. It was afer the election that I read Blackie's letter. I agree with every single word he wrote. The letter was eloquent, thoughtful, and reminded (or informed) us of the very scarry side of President Obama. I too voted for McCain. Not because I supported him, but to try and keep Obama out. I hope Blackie reads this. I want him to know how brave I think he was to write this letter. Most celebrities that supported "the other side" became pariahs and were mainly outcasted. It took "dirty balls" to risk his career to speak his heart. He is a true american and I'm proud to be a fan. I'm heading to Afghanistan in a few months to continue the war on terror. Like my last deployment, I'll be bringing along my entire collection of W.A.S.P. tunes with me to blast out of my M1114 (uparmored HMMWV) and get my troops to rocking!

The thing is this; regardless of either Blackie's or anyone elses political leanings, NOBODY can deny that the man makes more than a few good points. Let me tell you that here in the U.K. (yes I know that most of you have stopped reading now, as inconsequential to americans as we are over here - a point which, as Blackie points out, was illustrated by the very President Bush you mention, when he spoke to Tony Blair the way he did, telling Blair to take a message to the Iraqis for him), but I digress, the point I am actually trying to make is that over here in the UK we are Shit Scared of Barack Obama. I have said this elsewhere and I will say it again here, Bush was undeniably a moron, but even the moron felt supported by your wonderful government enough that he was able to treat your greatest ally with such disrespect. Obama is clever, so imagine what he will feel able to do with the same government that gave the moron such a feeling of security as to do what he did. This is what we are having to ask ourselves on this side of the pond; What will Obama do to us? What will he get us into next? And lastly, how many of us will die as a result??? He is not even our president guys and yet all the way over on this side of the world we are afraid. Whether you like it or not, Blackie is right; Be Afraid guys, Be VERY Afraid!

Blackie sounds like my uber conservative Christian in-laws that would love to see W.A.S.P.'s music criminalized.

What a disappointment that he bought into all the same "gulit by association" nonsense.

BTW... Obama is a lawyer... One of Constitutional Law. I have a good feeling he knows a little bit more about our constitution than Blackie Lawless.

The only other person that sent in their political manifesto was Joey Ramone's brother and it was less of a manifesto than a rant against Linda Ramone. If they send it - and it's funny - I will run it.

So you go to Balckie Lawless for some political insight. Blackie left out something. What the Bush administration has done for eight years is bypass the Constitution. Using signing statements and executive privilege to avoid the checks and balances that our democratic government is based on. I notice that this doesn't seem to upset Blackie Lawless. He also left out that Obama is a constitutional lawyer an expert on the document, unlike Blackie. In addition his interpretation of tax policy is simplistic and incomplete. Since we know Blackie and his adolescent band couldn't possibly put him in the upper tax bracket I'm not sure why he cares.

Seriously, I came to your blog after seeing your tribute to Frank Navetta. Though I should have realized it leaned a bit towards metal. Hey, why not get some other old fat metalhead's view on the constitution. Maybe Zach Wylde or Nikki Sixx have composed their own manifestos.
