97 N. Fullerton Ave. Apt #5
Montclair, NJ 07042

Life In A Bungalo was conceived in 1995 as a creative outlet for aspiring writers, artists, and musicians. In 2002 the magazine moved to the Web and became focused on covering stripped-down rock & roll and underground (urban) art, including vinyl toys, lowbrow artist, and graffiti.

Our staff reviews records, shows, art openings, DVDs, books, and the occasional video game, but tastes lean more towards garage rock, psychobilly, and high octane rock & roll. If a press release even mentions the words acoustic melodies, alternative, or pop punk, we probably won’t review it. Independent labels get preferential treatment, and submissions are always welcome.
