Doesn't Rock
Kinda Rocks

Really Rocks

Bars
"Introducing..."
Equal Vision

Bars are a Motorhead-influenced version of American Nightmare. Cut and dry rock and roll with a dirty hardcore feel. Singer Kevin Baker screams and yells his way through this quick romp of a record. Crunchy and loud guitars everywhere kill children left and right.

The hit single from this one is "Up to my Neck" and it deals with a rampaging alcoholic wasting another night. Don't be fooled this ain't no straight edge record by any means. These boys set out to make a dirty rock record and they succeded in every aspect.

Much of the record deals with alot of angst and depression... Black Flag's "Damaged" comes to mind. Chances are if you dig Black Flag you'll probably already have your fist pumping to this record. Like seeing Rev. Sal threatening to jump off the roof of a house into a shallow pool, this band gives you exactly what you want to see... DANGER!

Hardcore is good again...YAY!
