Throwdown “Vendetta”
TRUSTKILL
This
is a family! Throwdown are back with another punch to your kidney.
Much like Hatebreed you either
love these guys
or hate them. Personally
I’m more into WATCHING the O.C. on TV than listening to brutal
hardcore these days, so I had my doubts.
“Vendetta” sticks to the original Throwdown formula of
basic hardcore, tuned down guitar and bass, huge singalongs, and crazy
prison riot like breakdowns. The Title track and “Burn” are
this albums barnburners. You’re bound to get karate kicked in
the face if you see either of those played live. Throwdown distinctly
sound like “Vulgar Display of Power”-era Pantera than you
would imagine.
Nothing
has changed with Throwdown. It’s still disgusting hardcore
that everyone should love. Orange County California should be a pile
of rubble with this band playing all the time. By the way you kids
should really watch the OC. It’s like Melrose Place with hotter,
younger girls. I’m hooked!
