"Brought Back to Life" bridges the gap between the band's super heavy psycho era ("Curse of the Coffin") and their new Glenn Danzig does rockabilly cartoonish style. The record is chock full of thumpin' '50s style rockabilly twang and horror rock storytelling. Singer Kim Nekroman weaves together tales of the undead, vampires and ghouls, all while laying waste with his fat bottom upright coffin bass.

The new version of the record is spiced up with a demo track and an original intro, but the key sell is its awesome production and tremendous sound. The Nekromantix are must for new psychobilly fans who are tired of listening to Tiger Army, but definitely not ready for Demented Are Go. Hell, you can even dance to this.
