The Red Chord
“Clients”
Metal Blade Records

“Clients” is a juggernaut. The technical grind and INSANE drumming on this disc are a force to be reckoned with. The Red Chord , like countless others, started out as a small metal band in Massachusetts. They’ve evolved into a beast with a huge, unrelenting metal assault that never lets up.

“Clients” pushes extreme metal to its limits with an angry social commentary about the miscreants of society. The whole record is very bleak and death metal-looking. “Dragon Wagon” is my favorite track on the record. If you’re into bands like Dead to Fall, Bury Your Dead, and Mastodon you will eat this shit up.

Look for The Red Chord in the co-headlining tour with Bury Your Dead this summer. They will also be playing the huge New England Hardcore & Metal Fest. The Red Chord have recorded one of the heaviest albums you will hear all year. Producer Zeuss (best known for working with Hatebreed and Shadows Fall) really went all out to give these guys a brutal and fresh sound.
