Doesn't Rock
Kinda Rocks
Rocks
Really Rocks

Supagroup play coked-up rock 'n' roll straight out of New Orleans, and they ain't covering anything up. Hell, the first word out of their mouth is cocaine. The last band to be this blatant about their indulgences was Buckcherry, and guess what? These guys sound a lot like Josh Todd's former band.

Think AC/DC meets the Supersuckers but with a little less testosterone. "Rough Edge" comes off like "Lies" era Guns 'N' Roses, but with a bombastic segue from blues rock to full on hard rock overdrive. "Ready To Go" reeks of cock rock with plenty of over-the-top lyrics and riffs a plenty.

Some of the other tunes on here go a little too far with the drug references (to the point where it gets cartoony), and about halfway through the record you things get a little repetitive. However, if you miss balls to the wall hard rock, and The Darkness is your bag, then the Supagroup might be the next best thing to the second coming of rawk.
