Taking a break from pillaging and plundering, pirate punks Brine + Bastards are filling the world with holiday cheer by giving away their new single – a cover of the Misfit’s classic “Brain Eaters.” While most people are celebrating with a ham and some egg nog, the pirates are settling for a some medium rare brains and a side of guts.
Here’s a misfits cover that was going to be on the new release PURE ROCK SCURVY but decided to put it up for free download! So happy holidays to all you pirates and keep pillaging through the new years.

New Jersey punk veterans Brine + Bastards are set to plunder the world of rock with the release of their much anticipated debut record “Set Sail For Sodomy,” featuring 13-tracks teeming with blarney, swagger, and a heaping spoonful of awesome.
Yeah, B+B dress like pirates, and they’re best known for their drunken sea chanteys, but this record manages to eschew the corniness completely. Instead we are treated to track after track of meticulously produced rock classics. “Songs of the Siren” might be—hands down—the best punk song of 2008.
