For years now I’ve been hearing about this super secret Zombie Walk that takes place in New York City once a year. Thousands of undead ghouls rise from the grave and traipse around Manhattan scaring unsuspecting citizens.

The only problem is that I usually find out about it a day too late. This year, the Asbury Lanes was kind enough to host the after party for the local devilish procession and listed a start time. I was so going to be there to capture the magic on camera. You know, there’s something just magical about seeing hundreds of kids and adults covered in blood and oatmeal, wrecking peaceful havoc on common folk. Seeing the locals do a double take was so worth it.

The parade went down Cookman Avenue, crossed over to the boardwalk at the Casino, made its way to the Paramount, and then back again. Some of the outfits were cheese and some were amazing. Check out the slide show to see them all.
